The 32" loom is just perfect, but it is easier to use with the stand, which I bought as well. The loom comes pre-finished in clear, so all you need to do is put it together. It took a solid hour or so to put it together. Definitely check out this YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NpAQzas_0jQ&feature=youtu.be
A shout out to The Woolery, whose customer service is outstanding, friendly, and encouraging.
The loom was fairly easy to put together and I am glad that I purchased the 24 inch. The item was packed well.
The loom was fairly easy to put together and I look forward to making many projects. 24 inch is a perfect size.
I love my 32" Kromski Harp Forte! This loom is sturdy and beautiful. Mine is attached to a drafting table in the living room. Projects in progress are wonderful for guests to see and my loom is gorgeous. I have made close to 20 projects on my Kromski. Several of my projects have been multiple item projects such as dishtowels. I have also made scarves, wraps, shawls and smaller blankets on this awesome loom. I think that I have had 5 yards on the warping board and then the loom. This loom comes with everything, minus yarn, that you need to start weaving. I recommend a video to assist in assembly, but assembly is not difficult. I love that my loom is 32" as I find this a versatile width. The loom itself is versatile. There are so many ways to use this loom to create a variety of fabrics and textures. Did I mention that I adore, love and totally dig my Kromski Harp Forte!
Purchased the Kromski 24" loom as my first loom with the intention of eventually weaving fabric for sewing. So far I have been very happy with it. One of the reasons I chose Kromski was because it had metal ratchets and pawls. I also ordered the stand, the warping sticks, and an additional 8 dent heddle. It's also beautiful and I don't mind having it set up in my living room when company comes. So far I have made 2 sets of dish towels (and I'm working on my third set), a set of placemats, 2 scarves, and a pretty seat cover for my weaving chair. I assembled it myself in about an hour. There are lots of good YouTube videos about the Kromski loom that are very helpful.
Very pleased with the Kromski 32" loom with stand. Easy to put together, ready to go! Lots to learn, but am looking forward to the adventure. Have already purchased a 5 dent and a 12 dent heddle to open possibilities. Yarn is a whole other world!
