The Purple Heart Crochet Hook is designed to let you crochet for hours in comfort. It is made from one piece of solid purpleheart and is very light but strong. The hook easily catches yarn and inserts into stitches without causing splitting.

The shaft is the same diameter from the throat to the handle so your loops will not widen if you push deeper into the knot.

The depth of the recess for your thumb and forefinger is designed to let you control the hook without having to contract the muscle in your thumb. This allows you to crochet for long periods of time without tiring. The wood also warms to the heat of your hand and feels very comfortable.

Purpleheart is one of the most exotic woods due to its unique color, but it is also a sustainable managed hardwood native to Central and South America. Exposure to light will darken purpleheart over time.

The purchase of these crochet hooks provides support of several veterans organizations such as Operation Homefront, Gary Sinise Foundation and Fisher House.
