Wensleydale fiber is the finest of the long wool breeds. It has a long staple length, lots of luster and silkiness. So good for felting that felting teachers say it is the only fiber to use for those beautiful transparent felted scarves and wall hangings.

"Loved what I received last summer, but needed more to finish a project and …ordered extra …because it was so beautiful…. the product is now coarse and scratchy… also the color is so different…. I’m okay with dying. Would baby white alpaca sub?? Anybody? I sent an inquiry, no response…. . I think with the abundance of coarse fiber I’ve purchased I’ll learn how to weave a rug!❤️love the fiber source…still a good review, I know every fleece is different…but kindda bummed."
