The Roberta electronic spinning wheel by Ertoel is versatile, efficient and much quieter than other electric wheels on the market. Spin up to 3 times more yarn than on a treadle wheel, given the same period of time. Ply 6 times faster than a treadle wheel, without any effort. Dual power means that the spinner can be run from either of two sources. i.e. your mains power supply in your particular country, plus from a 12 volt source. It comes with a detachable additional power lead for plugging into a number options. These could be a car cigarette lighter fitting, a portable rechargeable carry pack (such as a car jump starter), or from a small solar panel. This is a great idea for maximum portability.
