These are the shorter tangled fibers of Grade A Mulberry Silk removed during the combing process.
Card them with cotton carders to produce textured yarns. Great for blending with wool.
Raw silk noils are short fibers with bits of pupa. Noils are easy to dye.
When blended into wool, they create a textured yarn with flecks of the dyed colors.
These can also be used in paper-making.

"This product is awesome love the texture works great"
"I’m so glad my teacher recommended The Woolery and its goods. In working on a natural dye project, I found this silk noil to so beautifully pick up color, in a way that was distinct from the plant fibers I was using in its potency. Looking forward to playing even more!"
