Lopi Fjallalopi Yarn

Fjallalopi is a Fingering weight yarn spun with 100% Icelandic wool.

The single-ply yarn has a heritage feel & is ideal for lighter garments such as cardigans, sweaters, hats, cowls & mittens.

Fjallalopi is the new member of the Lopi family! It is half the thickness of Léttlopi. Suitable for lighter garments for children and adults alike.  A yarn for wool lovers, it is easy to work with & softens the more it is worn & blocked.

Just what I wanted

"I wanted a will with a little fluff and the Icelandic is perfect. It knits up so nicely. Making a teddy bear for a newborn."

Lovely weft yarns for table linens

"Bought this in two colors to make woven placemats and a table runner for my daughter's home. Colors inspired by a light fixture in the kitchen/dining area. Nice texture and color match for what I wanted."

Buyers beware - I found

"Buyers beware - I found this yarn under the weaving section, but there is no way it could take being used as warp. Maybe weft - but it would pull apart as warp. On the bright side, I was able to trade this yarn to my Mom, who can make use of it, and she pointed me towards the Hartisville Shetland, which will work better for my purposes. The yarn is, however, very nice to the touch - just not what I needed."
