I must repair a very

"I must repair a very nice hand-made carpet and have found the Harrisville Shetland wool yarn to be strong as well as the perfect ply for the job. Also, its range of colors is enormous. I know I will find many other uses for this beautiful wool after my mending is done. I am really enjoying this fine product."

"Love, Love, Love!!! I can't wait to dig into more of the colors and different projects."

Great for Weaving

"The Harrisville Shetland wool yarn is a delight to use. I have been weaving mug rugs on my rigid heddle using this yarn. The yarn is just the right weight and the color is perfect. I will be ordering more."

Donna R. (5/5)

Great quality wool yarn

"Excellent quality wool yarn for blankets and heavier garments. The blanket was woven in turned taqueté at 12 epi and ppi, and ended up soft with good drape and loft after wet-finishing and vigorous brushing with wire pet brush. Color selection is good, although some colors may be out of stock which can be a little frustrating. Highly recommend."

Jade Shetland Wool

"Very soft, beautiful color. Wonderful to work with!"

Lisa S. (5/5)

Harrisville Shetland

"I love Harrisville Shetland for scarves. I normally use a sett of 8 for plain weave and 10 for twills. Really blooms and fills in with 5 minutes of handwashing in warm water and Dawn, followed by a soak in Eucalan."

Deborah S. (5/5)

The colors were vibrant, but

"The colors were vibrant, but there were splits in the yarn that made it unsuitable for warp. Sometimes you get ""that"" cone, but still worth the purchase!"

Suanne G. (5/5)

I got the color samples. Now to get started.

"A lot of colors to use. I presently have three colors. Don't worry I'll add on."

Joan H. (5/5)

It is really nice yarn

"It is really nice yarn to work with. It does pull apart easier than I would have thought but it works fine in a warp or weft."
