"The spindle and fibre look good, but the DVD is from the 1990's (with 90's production values) and refers to a different kit and a different type of spindle (whorl at the bottom, not the top, and no hook). YouTube will probably come to the rescue, but it burns a little to have a DVD with a $21. 75 price on it that is so ancient."

"I really have no idea if this kit will work or not, as I'm giving it to my sister for a Christmas gift. She's an avid knitter (I'm a weaver) and loves yarns of all kinds. I thought it was time for her to learn a new craft, and I've always trusted the Woolery for your products and service so I thought I'd give it a try.
