"I find the pirns as easy to wind as a bobbin and I get a little more weft on the pirns. I use an electric double ended bobbin winder for my pirns and it works perfectly. I didn't find a steep learning curve in winding these."
OK, but I prefer the old red pirns
"These have apparently replaced the red pirns that came with my Schacht EFS. The orifice is larger - too big for my Harrisville bobbin winder unless I wind paper on the shaft. They are also larger in diameter and it seems like I am not getting as much weft on. Please note, this is not a problem with The Woolery, but Schacht."
