Merino / Tussah Silk / Flax Top

FA-566

Typically Ships In:
1-3 Days

The softness of Merino blended with the sheen of silk and the strength of flax produces a unique fiber blend.

Merino is terrific for any next-to-skin garment. It takes dye beautifully and can be spun anywhere from thick and lofty to extremely fine.

Cultivated from a different strain of moth than bombyx silk, Tussah silk is incredibly fine, but just a little coarser than bombyx, and feels a bit less slippery.

Just like kenaf, jute, nettle, ramie and hemp - flax is a bast fiber. One of the oldest fibers used in Western civilization as the common flax plant was one of the first domesticated crops
