An artist and teacher, Simone Vojvodin is passionate about sharing her love and enthusiasm for punch needle rug hooking. She has been an Oxford Certified instructor since 2011, teaching classes and workshops for beginner to advanced students. She creates original punch needle rugs, and designs patterns and hand dyed wools for her business, Red Maple Ruggery. Her rugs have been featured in exhibitions in Canada and the U.S., published in magazines and books, and have won multiple awards. Simone lives and works on her farm near Dutton, Ontario, Canada, in a little log home she and her family built together. She shares her life with her husband, three children, and many animal friends.
