"Lost my threading hook, and this replacement is right on. It’s a bit larger than the old one, lighter in color (age), but fits perfectly. Only suggestion to Lendrum is that they drill a hole so it can be attached with a tether. Mine silently fell out and I didn’t catch it."

"I bought this to replace the hook that was lost when I moved. It is the exact same hook as the original which means that it fits in its hole on the wheel and into the orifice that the yarn goes through. The hook arrived quickly and was reasonably priced as has been everything that I've ordered from The Woolery. There is a reason The Woolery is the place for fiber artists to get tools and supplies; they are simply a great company! This is one of those many pieces that go to a spinning wheel that you just need to have a back up of whether you have actually lost the original or not. Just go ahead and get an extra drive band, orifice hook, tension knob, etc. Basically, if it's a small piece that could either become separated or break (I've already been through two tension knobs because of the amount of travel that my wheel does) and know that it's not wasted money."
