Use to measure your yardage for weaving, spinning or knitting.
For warping with a sectional beam, place the counter on the tension box to measure the yardage of your warp; one revolution equals 1/10 yard (up to 999.9 yards).
Also useful when filling bobbins for warping (Winding the bobbins that go on to the bobbin rack using the tension box and counter to keep track of the yardage on the bobbin helps reduce warp waste.)

"I like the idea of the yarn counter. I've only used it once so far and I believe there is a learning curve with this counter. Will use it again but will add a rubber band to see if I can get a better accuracy as the yarn tends to have some slippage while measuring. This could be my fault for not loading it correctly so will give it another chance before giving up on it"
