"I see a lot of newer spinners are using this to learn, which is great! This Kromski can grow with you - after you've learned and are using lighter spindles (if your preference), this spindle is perfect for plying. Holds tons of yarn, I got an entire 4 ounce braid plied on it! I did get a different hook when I started using it for plying, the hook that came with it was not open enough to accommodate the thickness of my yarn. I just bought a 5/8 inch cup hook at the hardware store for pennies, unscrewed the old hook, and screwed in the new. Easy way to keep this sturdy tool relevant and useful!"

"I bought this so I can spin more yarn at a time. I'm a beginner and this is very easy to use. I don't feel like it's heavy weight or more difficult to work with. The round top can slide off if you need to store it away. Definitely glad I bought it. (Not the best photos to show off the spindle itself but it's what I have)"

"This is the first drop spindle I bought. After watching video after video on YouTube I decided Amazon was Not the place to find my first spindle. The Woolery website was easy to navigate, the information was clear and in 5 minutes I had ordered the spindle. When I run out of roving or ready to buy a loom, I will go to the Woolery first.
