Knitting and Crochet DVDs

Believed to have developed in the Middle East in the 5th century, knitting is the interconnecting a series of yarn loops using a set of needles.  This interconnecting of yarn loops eventually produces a sheet of fabric that is often elastic in nature.

The exact origins of crochet have been lost to history.  However, the word crochet is derived from the Middle French word for hook, croche.  Historically, crochet techniques have been used to produce clothing, household goods, hunting snares, fishing nets and ceremonial items.  Unlike knitting, crochet typically involves the use of a single tool or hook.
