Maybe best as a backup
"I was eager to buy a heddle and reed hook in one because I am limited in my weaving space; I don’t want to have too much clutter. But now using the hook, I don’t believe I’d buy this one again. Whatever convenience I thought I was getting by having the two hooks in one tool is eclipsed by the inconvenience of the other side getting caught on the wrong things. I’ve noticed that while I’m threading a heddle, the reed hook on the opposite side will sometimes pick up other warp threads without my awareness. Then as I pull the thread through the heddle, the other hook will rip out threads that I’ve already slayed through the reed. It’s just inconvenient, and I’ll likely purchase separate reed and heddle hooks in future. This one will be a backup."
"I love these tools. This is the second one I have ordered."

Good hook!
"It's a great solid heddle hook! I had a plastic one given to me with my second hand loom and I bought this as a backup being concerned the plastic one may break. One time using this and the plastic is the backup :D It's light weight but the subtle heft from the brass clearly gives it a higher quality than the plastic. It feels nice and easy to control. It worked really well. I'm glad I bought it."
