The Suffolk sheep is classified as short-wool and down. Developed from crossing Southdown rams with Norfolk Horn ewes at the turn of the 19th Century. Its dense fleece is suited to knitwear and any other application where a good bulk is required. Perfect for hand spinning, hand felting and many other craft uses.
