Frabjous Fibers

The Owner of Frabjous Fibers, Stephanie Shiman started the business in her dining room with recycled silk yarn, a knitted bag design, and a few boxes of imports. Her love of texture and color led her to organically grow her business from her dining room to a proper studio over the course of a decade. These fibers/yarns and designs are inspired by Lewis Carol’s Alice in Wonderland and the landscape of southern Vermont.

Frabjous Fibers creates uniquely hand-dyed yarn inspired by Alice in Wonderland, spinning fiber, and they also make and sell clothing patterns and kits. The patterns include anything from hats to blankets to socks and more. Their kits include all the yarn needed to make the project as well as the pattern to make it.
