"I love this fiber. It is so very soft, and I find it easy to spin. I love it left white but would also love to see it come in colors as well. I haven't mastered dyeing fiber yet."

Made from a specially treated nylon, this man-made fiber is just as soft as real Cashmere at a fraction of the price. Try blending it with Merino or another natural fiber.

"The faux cashmere top is amazingly soft. It dyes extremely well and the dye color comes out so vivid and bright. I use this to blend with wool, and it blends very well, as the staple length is about 4 to 6 inches, so it makes spinning very easy."

"I ordered this faux with my new Charkha Book. Learning to spin cotton on the Charkha was more difficult than I expected since I already learned how to spin cotton on my spinning wheel. I decided to try spinning this faux fiber on my Charkha and I was immediately so much better. This fiber is very strong and held up to my inexperience. I will ply this with other more delicate fibers to give it strength, elasticity and hopefully durability. I've never used this faux before, but when it's spun reminds me of Lycra/Spandex thread I have and use in socks--only mine is thicker spun."
