What Customers Say

Rated 4.4 out of 5 — 8 verified reviews

This kit features 6 (yes, 6!) colors of Lunatic Fringe's Tubular Spectrum perle cotton yarn. The napkins are fun color play and can be woven on rigid heddle (need two 8 dent heddles) or 2-shaft table and floor looms. With the warp already wound, this is a fast, easy weave for all experience levels. Can't bring yourself to use the napkins? It can be a lovely table runner or set of 2 placements.

STUNNING napkins!

"This is an amazing kit that produces GORGEOUS napkins! The warp is well wound and easy to dress on the loom, the instructions are clear and concise, and I'm looking forward to making this project again!!!"

Not enough yarn

"I wove it as written on my 30” 8 harness loom even though I didn’t use most of the harnesses. It needs to be woven on a table loom because I only was able to complete two whole and two thirds of the third napkin."

Jump started my weaving!

"I needed to jump-start my weaving after a decade hiatus. I saw this pretty, colorful, pre-wound project on Wollery's site, and thought it might be perfect. And it is! I'm almost done weaving it, and it was a very fast, very satisfying project. I haven't seen the finished project yet, but I'm sure they'll be wonderful."

The kit is just beautiful.

"The kit is just beautiful. The colors are bright and cheery, and the directions well laid out. I appreciated the well tied warp chain and very basic directions on how to dress my loom; for a beginner this was very appreciated. There’s also an option to make a table runner rather than the napkins, which I opted to do, and how to finish them at the end. The charts were easy read and interpret, and overall I really enjoyed this project. For the first project I put on my new to me loom this was a great way to dip my toes into the waters of weaving without becoming overwhelmed with a lot of math. Thanks for a great product, and I look forward to using my newly finished table runner this spring!"

Great project!

"I finished these napkins and can't stop looking at them! They're stunning! Great kit! This was my first time using a pre-wound warp and it was quite a treat. Very happy with the napkins! I think I might do another set!"

"I was told they were out but on order and was surprised when I received my order a week later. Thank you so much"

Bright and Cheery

"Colors are very bright and cheery; yarn is nice to weave. Haven't finished weaving yet. First time I had used a warp chain - better instructions would have helped when transferring the warp chain to the rigid heddle loom (should have cut the loops at one end so later I could pull them even as necessary). And I did look at websites for info on using a warp chain but they are all based on regular harness looms- not rigid heddle looms. Chalked up the frustration to a new learning experience. Not sure I'll get 4 napkins out of the warp since I made a debacle of transferring the warp to the loom. Also I was surprised when I got the package that it required 2 heddles for the rigid heddle loom - somehow I missed that when ordering (ended up doubling the threads in the slots and holes and it looks OK). Thought the instructions to only put one temp weft thread between napkins could cause problems when cutting apart. I gave myself a few temp wefts and plan to zigzag the ends of the napkins to keep them from unraveling when I cut them apart."
