"I am a new spinner and the Grey Corriedale drafts easily! It is soft and smooth and the color is stunning!"
"As a new spinner, I found that this fiber was the easiest to spin so far. It is very soft and the final yarn was a pleasure to knit with."
"So so soft! I bought this to make a set of wool loc extensions, as well as spin some super soft yarn. The grey is so stunning, and I'm excited to experiment with overdyeing it! Corriedale is one of my go-to fibers for consistent smoothness and softness. I've spun white Corriedale a few times, and decided to try the grey. I also purchased the Corriedale in brown, but haven't worked with it at all just yet. Drafts so nicely without too much slippage, has a lovely sheen. Softness out of 10, 10 being softest ever, I give this a 7 which is high praise, as I'm VERY sensitive! It is softer than Hebridean or Cheviot, but not quite as soft as Merino or Alpaca. Overall, I recommend, especially for beginners and intermediate!"
"As a beginner spinner, this was a great learning wool and I'm sure it will be a favorite for years to come. The very first wools I used were mixed or poor quality merino and were meant for felting, so the first time I spun the Corriedale was like magic! The staple length was consistent and made drafting a breeze. Also was delighted when I opened the bag and pulled out the heaps and heaps of soft, soft wool. The grey is beautiful. I don't know how helpful this is as I don't have much experience at all but I really did find it to be a great experience overall."
"Beautiful silver grey color. Spins beautifully , too."
"Soft to the touch, easy to spin up. It is nice to work with."
"I found myself learning a new hobby recently thanks to search algorithms! One video suggested that new drop spindle spinners use Corriedale top as a first fiber, both for staple length and quality. I have used The Woolery for other projects and started my search there. As usual, they did not disappoint. Their service is amazing as always and I cannot say enough about this amazing kitten-soft top. The natural gray is such an appealing color. There was zero foreign material present in it and even my sensitive skin handles it wonderfully. While the final product wasn't perfect (my fault as a newbie) I enjoyed spinning it so much I intend to purchase more in the future. Thumbs up from me!"
