Hand-dyed yarn is yarn colored using small-batch dyeing methods rather than industrial machine dyeing. The process produces richer, more complex colorways than commercially dyed yarn, with tonal variation, depth, and color transitions that are difficult or impossible to replicate at scale. Each skein is unique.
Fiber bases in this collection:
Wool (including superwash and non-superwash), cotton, silk, and fiber blends such as merino/silk, merino/cashmere, and wool/cotton. Bases range from fingering to bulky weight, suitable for knitting, weaving, and crochet.

A note on dye lots:
Because hand-dyeing is a small-batch process, no two dye lots are identical — even within the same colorway. If your project requires more than one skein, purchase all skeins at the same time to ensure they come from the same dye lot. Mixing dye lots mid-project can result in visible color shifts in the finished piece.
