"I have very dirty Shetland/Jacob wool and these quality combs help to clean it up, removing the small bits of wool and the hayseed and tree needles. Then I card it briefly and roll it up and spin on a homemade spindle. I have two sets of combs, the wider set, I have loaned it out at the moment but this narrow set is doing the job of cleaning it satisfactorily."
