Elf Basket Project for the Original TURTLE Loom
The 5th Fiber Gift of Christmas is the Original TURTLE Loom™! This little loom allows you to weave hexagons! Its unique patented design combines two weaving methods to making weaving a hexagon possible.
The Original TURTLE Loom™ is perfect to make coasters, dish cloths, table runners, pillows, stuffed toys, scarves, hats and other accessories, clothing, and let’s not forget … throws and blankets in all sizes!
We wanted to give you a project to get inspired with your new TURTLE Loom™ so we worked with Bluebonnet Crafters to give you a FREE project tutorial! You can make this adorable little Elf Basket by weaving up 4 hexagons.
To make the Elf Basket the only materials you need are:
- Original TURTLE Loom Kit
- Worsted Weight Yarn (we used Cestari Mt. Vernon in Dahlia Red and Babies Breath)
- Tapestry Needle
Bluebonnet Crafters made a full video tutorial to teach you how to create the Elf Basket including instructions for how to weave up the hexagons using the Original TURTLE Loom™
