"I bought these cardboard warp sticks in an effort to reduce expenditures after I bought a used Ashford table loom. Upon arrival, they felt a little more flimsy than I expected. I guess with my bookbinding background, I expected them to be more like Davey board. And now I’ve actually used them, I’ve swapped the word “flimsy” for “flexible” in my mind. I do appreciate how they flex very slightly to ride over knots and cord bumps. I couldn’t really buy wooden warp sticks without breaking my budget, and these cardboard warp sticks cost less than an equivalent length of corrugated separator. In all, these are a great, cost-effective choice for a very necessary tool."
