Howard Brush Finishing Brush
Use the finishing brush to give your masterpiece a combing action. The brush has teeth like a small hand card, but the teeth are longer and more flexible so you won't damage the backing of the card cloth on your blending board, drum or hand carders.
There are no similar brushes that have the same versatility, results, or ergonomics as these blending brushes. They are great to used for flicking or teasing fibers on your hand cards, blending boards, or drum cards. Both blending brushes work fantastically as a burnishing tool for use with a drum carder allowing you to pack and blend your fibers with the smooth rotation of the drums.
The makeup of the wire gauge, density, length and orientation are all specific variables contributing to their superior performance. The tines going in the opposite direction than a hand carder give it a smoother action and reducing the likelihood of damaging the fibers being blended or damaging the cloth on the drum carder and or blending board. Plus they work great for compacting fibers on a hand card for tightly rolled rolags and puni's.
