To celebrate their 40th anniversary, Schacht is making a special edition of Matchless Spinning Wheels in Cherry. Only 150 of these wheels will be made. They will have the traditional Matchless walnut accents. There will also be a special commemorative plaque or engraving - they're still deciding exactly what.
We will have accessories in cherry: all sizes of whorls, as well as regular and high speed bobbins. The bobbins will have cherry ends with a maple core - you won't see this once you've spun some yarn!

From New Voyager Trading. Made by a group of meticulous craftspeople in India, these needles are 10" long (13" if you include the decorative top) and made of unstained rosewood so there will be some variation in color, though all are in the rosewood deep reddish brown range. They have an extraordinary satiny finish that will not slow down a speedy knitter and feature a beautiful turned decorative design that makes them very appealing as gifts. The needle size is printed on the accompanying card as well as embossed on the needles. Sold as a pair.
