Lendrum Spinning Wheels are available in two styles - the very modern looking Original Lendrum, or Folding Wheel and the classic looking Lendrum Saxony. These very popular wheels are manufactured in Canada by Gord Lendrum. They have a very good reputation in the spinning market and have features that are attractive to all spinners.

Original Lendrum Spinning Wheel

is versatile and very portable. It folds almost flat for travelling and is easily unfolded and reset for spinning. It now includes a tensioned Lazy Kate, drive band and 4 bobbins. Wheel diameter is 19"; orifice size is 7/16". Ratios are 6, 8 and 10 to 1. It is also available as a "complete" wheel which includes the above plus the jumbo plying head with large orifice (15/16"), plying drive band, one large bobbin (ratios: 5, 7 and 9 to 1) and the fast flyer (ratios: 12, 15 and 17 to 1).

Lendrum Saxony Spinning Wheel
This beautifully turned spinning wheel featuring ball bearings in the wheel axle, is available in either cherry, maple or walnut and comes with a double treadle, a Lazy Kate and 4 bobbins. The wheel is 28 inches in diameter.
Ratios are 8, 12, 15 and 18 to 1.
Choose right-handed or left handed wheel and either double drive with scotch tension option, or single drive.

Wheel Bag: If you are a traveling spinner why not protect your investment with a carry bag! For the original Lendrum, the bag (custom-made for The Woolery) is padded with heavy foam throughout (including bottom). Made of pre-washed indigo denim cotton. Features include adjustable and removable cotton webbing straps, 2 carry handles on top, 3 front pockets (one large one zips up) and one large inside pocket. Machine washable. Note that the head with flyer will need to be removed (this takes a few seconds) for the wheel to fit in the bag correctly. This is a "top of the line" bag; don't accept just any bag offer because they are not the same.
