The second book from Marjory Fainges on dressing dolls in knitted clothing (the frrst was Classic Knits for Boy Dolls). It contains 15 outfits suitable for dressing baby dolls ranging in size from 14 to 48 cm (5.5" to 19"). The garments are all classic styles, which means that although they date from the early 1920s to the late 1940s, they are all suitable for modern dolls as well.
A few of the patterns are designed specifically for boys or girls, but all the others can be made suitable for either sex merely by changing the colour of the wool or the ribbon inserts. Some of the patterns are suitable for beginner knitters, while others offer a little more chauenge. Instructions are simply written, and are given in both metric and US measurements, as are the wool and needle sizes.
